hocket documentation

hocket runs and supervises CLI coding agents — Claude Code, Codex, anything that lives in a terminal — across your projects and git worktrees, in one terminal app on the machine you already trust. Each agent works in its own worktree, each session stays visible as a live terminal you can read and interrupt, and git stays observe-only apart from a short list of guarded writes.

If you're new, start with Getting started: install, first launch, the core loop, and why local worktrees beat remote sandboxes for the everyday agent fleet.

Reference

  • Keyboard map — every command, surface by surface, and how to rebind any of them.
  • Glossary — the name of every visible surface and interaction concept, with a map of the screen.

Guides

  • Window management — panes, adaptive tiling, spatial movement, resizing, fullscreen, overflow, and the four saved Panels.
  • Git mutations — the short list of git writes hocket can perform, the guards on each, and how the destructive ones stay recoverable.
  • Project sorting — ordering the Projects sidebar by hand, by recent commit, or by session activity.
  • Context projections — how the sidebar, Git graph, and Processes pane stay pointed at one project or worktree, and how pinning filters all three.
